Each week is dedicated to learning an aspect of plot, character, pacing, dialogue, setting, and more. Classes are held next door to the Safety Harbor Art & Music Center but please check in at SHAMc, 706 2nd St. N. Safety Harbor, FL 34695. Please email Laura to reserve a spot.
Join host Walt Belcher along with several experienced storytellers every first Wednesday of the month at SHAMc (check back for the summer schedule). This is the perfect venue for both professionals and new tellers who want to improve their storytelling skills. Walt recommends you create a story (true or not), memorize, and practice it prior to attending. Plan on approximately 5 to 10 minutes at the mic. Audience members are welcome! Singer/songwriters, comedians, musicians, poets, storytellers, dancers, magicians, and more will entertain a large audience every third Wednesday of the month at the Safety Harbor Art & Music Center (check back for the summer schedule).
