Laura Kepner is a freelance writer, former editor-in-chief, and author. Her titles include Images of America, Safety Harbor (Arcadia Publishing, 2022), and A Brief History of Safety Harbor, Florida (co-authored with Warren Firschein, History Press, 2013). She is the former editor-in-chief of Odet, a Florida-based literary journal.
Laura has scheduled numerous writing and author-themed events, including "Word Birds & Book Nerds" in 2023 and "The Considerate Literate" in 2021. She has organized and facilitated two writing conferences and founded Safety Harbor Writers & Poets, a group to encourage writing, learning, and connecting.
